Adata AiR Resident Programme - Meetings with the Artists # 1 | Matthias Garff, Ana Pérola Brotas, Alin Tănasă, Nina Jørgensen and ATOM THEATRE
ADATA AiR is an artist-in-residence programme in the city of Plovdiv. The residency aims to give a space for a creative exchange that fosters intercultural dialogue and interaction. The platform is open to artists, architects, designers, etc., from Europe to join the special pre-capital-of-culture stage. During their stay, the residents will have the opportunity to develop new projects and interact with local communities and the complex cultural realities of the city.
On 9 May 2018, at SKLAD, was held the first meeting within the ADATA AiR project - the artist-in-residence programme of Plovdiv 2019 Foundation. We met the artists visiting Plovdiv in the spring of 2018 to work on their own artistic projects related to topics concerning nature and architectural cultural heritage in Plovdiv.
The artists-in-residence introduced us to the project concepts, which they plan to realize in Plovdiv in 2019, also to their previous experience, and to their personal impressions gained for Plovdiv during their stay in the city.
