On 17.03 and 18.03.2017 “Plovdiv 2019” Foundation invites all current and future volunteers to a workshop dedicated to the cause of being a volunteer in European Capital of Culture.
In the span of the two days spent with the lecturer Mary Sadowska – ECOC Performance Curator all participants will get acquainted with the essence of what it means to be a volunteer, what are the obligations, responsibilities and will get understanding of teamwork. The workshop is focused on solving specific problems, individually and in groups. Each participant will have the opportunity to learn how to develop and solve separate cases, which can occur within a given event.
After active involvement in the training each participant will know what it means for him and for the group to be a volunteer, he will know the importance of volunteering in the context of the events of the European Capitals of Culture.
The event is based on active participation through training, problem solving and case studies. It will also include tasks related to the physical and intellectual commitment of each participant.

14.00-15.00: Introduction in the volunteering in the context of European capitals of culture
15.00 -15.30: Real examples from volunteering initiatives from Wroclaw – European capital of culture 2016
15.30 – 17.00: Problem solving of volunteering causes – individual and team work.
18.03.2017 from 10.00 to 15.00 h.
10.00 – 11.00: Introduction in the volunteering in the context of European capitals of culture
11.00 -12.15: Real examples from volunteering initiatives from Wroclaw – European capital of culture 2016
12.15. – 13.00: Lunch break
13.00 – 15.00: Problem solving of volunteering causes – individual and team work.
