Bus stops are not known as a city's most noticeable venues. They are nothing but places we pass through quickly on the way to somewhere else. However, ‘Bus stop stories’ is turning bus stops across Plovdiv into places of inspiration – platforms for young talented Bulgarian writers and their short stories.

The stories can be seen at bus stops in Plovdiv's downtown between 20th May and late June 2019, and they all aim at reimagining these customary urban spaces. Or at least reimagining five minutes of our daily lives. Just the time for the next bus to come.

In the trap of time

The theme of the first edition of the project in Plovdiv is "In the trap of time". Kashalot Association invites all creative residents and guests of Plovdiv to send their interpretation of the topic (up to 250 words), in Bulgarian or English, on the project website www.spirkazarazkazi.bg until May 10th. All submitted stories that are eligible will be posted on the project website www.spirkazarazkazi.bg.

‘Bus stop stories’ is a Kashalot Association production.
