The Balkan Dance Project is an international dance platform that brings together young and talented choreographers, dancers and other artists from the Balkan region – Serbia, Macedonia, Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. They become part of the Plovdiv 2019 programme with the ‘Balkan Dance Project in Plovdiv’ dance performance.

The founder and choreographer of the ATOM THEATRE, Stefaniya Georgieva, is the show's choreographer, along with Mojca Majcen (Slovenia), Branko Mitrovic (Bosnia and Herzegovina), and three Bulgarian artists. They also take part in a dance workshop. After its premiere in Plovdiv, the show will travel also to Sofia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia.

The show's choreographer is Stefaniya Georgieva. The dance team is: Mojca Majcen (Slovenia), Branko Mitrovic (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Endi Schrotter (Croatia) and the Bulgarian artists Kalina Georgieva, Dorina Puncheva, and Radoslav Yordanov. Music is by Prof. Dr. Dimitrina Kaufman and Maria Kaufman. The photographer is Ivan-Alexander Ivanov.
