Artists selected for participation in the open call for the second phase of the artists in residence programme ADATA AiR in 2019

Leading in the jury's decisions was the concept of ensuring the maximum presence of art in the public spaces of the city, interaction with the citizens and the adequate development of the assets of Plovdiv. The residents were selected on the basis of their previous experience in this direction as well as the ideas they would like to make in Plovdiv as part of the dynamic program in 2019, previously proposed and discussed during their creative stay in Plovdiv.

The representatives of the commission that selected the participants in the program were Svetlana Kuyumdzhieva - artistic director "Plovdiv 2019", Vanya Grozdanova - coordinator of ADATA AiR program, representatives of Polish Institute in Sofia and Goethe Institute Bulgaria, as well as the art historian and curator Vera Mlechevska and the curator and critic Yovo Panchev .

The open call, within which each of the above artists should suggest a project proposal, will be held in the first half of 2019.

The realization of the approved and supported artistic projects in Plovdiv is planned for the period from July to November 2019.
