You are welcome on 4th July at 10.30am at the St St Cyril and Methodius School with humanitarian profile at 15 Han Kubrat Str. in Plovdiv.

Born in Saint-Etienne, France, Ella Besnaïnou and Loïc Niwa came to the urban art scene in 2007. Since 2013 they have begun to paint huge characters that they call the "Sleeping giants" and which became their trademark. The sizes of the giants ready to wake up anytime grow from 500 to 21,000 m². So far they have drawn more than forty giants in many countries around the world.

Ella & Pitr invite us to explore the world through the eyes of one untainted by the drudgery of a 9-5 life. They invite us to become lovers, lovers of our streets and communities, of stories, of the underdog’s small victories, of each other and ultimately, of life. Their work is a call to arms, a reminder that freedom comes from within and that it’s never wise to “grow up” in spite of our growing old. “, Martyn Reed, founder of NuArt Festival shares.

Before their arrival to Plovdiv the artists started to draw the biggest graffiti art work on the roof of Pavilion 3 of Paris-Expo Porte de Versailles, covering an area of 2.3 ha.

The festival will gather 100 French speaking students from 16 countries who will work together, united by their sense of belonging to the French language. A total of 5 workshops: dance, music, theater, digital culture and street art will encourage them to develop their personalities through cultural projects.

Ella & Pitr’s work will be shot with a drone and shared on social media.
