"Plovdiv 2019" and the Bulgarian Association of Communication Agencies announce a poster competition

"Together for Plovdiv 2019" brings together the best visual ideas for the European Capital of Culture

"Together for Plovdiv 2019" is the theme of the poster competition starting today. The purpose of the competition, organized by the Plovdiv 2019 Foundation in partnership with the Bulgarian Association of Communication Agencies, is to realize the best visual idea to portray Plovdiv as a city of different cultures, a variety of inspirations and artists. The obligatory conditions for the authors in the competition are to use the project logo, as well as to be able to recreate the motto "Together" in the most interesting way.

Both creative graphic designers and non-professionals involved in the visual arts and communications industry can take part in the competition. However, the applicants must be at least 18 years old. The application deadline is 18 May 2018, full details of the assignment and technical requirements can be downloaded HERE.

The submitted posters must be own works of the participants, which will be judged by the Jury "Artistic Layout and Design", part of the FARA'18 festival. The jury will nominate a winner and two runner-ups who will receive accreditations with full access to the festival and lecture programme of FARA'18 from 7th to 9th June 2018 at the Boris Hristov House of Culture in Plovdiv.

The name of the winner will be announced at the start of FARA'18 gala ceremony on 9 June. The winner will receive a prize - a FARA star and a diploma.

FARA Festival is organized by the Bulgarian Association of Communication Agencies (BACA) and is the most prestigious forum of the creative industry in Bulgaria. It is held for the third consecutive year in Plovdiv in partnership with the Plovdiv 2019 Foundation. Every year, the event brings together a competition for communication ideas and a lecture panel with well-established international lecturers. FARA has more than 500 participants from the communications industry, creative professionals, directors, producers, leading advertisers, marketing specialists, media.
