EU Japan Fest and European Capital of Culture

Plovdiv 2019 in collaboration with EU Japan Fest announced an Open Call for projects which to be implemented in 2019 as part of the official programme of the Bulgarian city European Capital of Culture.

HERE is a presentation of the selected projects through the call which are part of the official programme of Plovdiv - European Capital of Culture 2019:

Main selection - category ONE

● Принцът на морето и принцът на земята - Проектът се осъществява от Държавен куклен театър Пловдив. / The Spirit of the Japanese Puppet. 'The Prince of the Sea and the Prince of the Earth' - The project is implemented by the State Puppet Theater Plovdiv.

● ХИДЖИКАТА И НЕГОВИЯТ ДВОЙНИК - Проект на Сдружение „Метеор“. / HIJIKATA AND HIS DOUBLE - The project is a Metheor Association production.

● Театър Но с Европейски дух - Проектът се осъществява от Сдружение с нестопанска цел за общественополезна дейност социални системи „Юндола” / Noh theatre with a European Spirit - The project is organised by NPO social systems ‘Yundola’.

● Аниме & Гейминг Фестивал - Проектът се осъществява от Асоциация „Накама“. / Anime & Gaming Festival - The project is a Nakama Association production.

● + 7 hours - Проектът се осъществява от „ИВАН АСЕН 22” Фондация за представяне и подкрепа на съвременни дизайнери. / + 7 hours - The project is implemented by „IVAN ASEN 22“ Foundation for the presentation and support of contemporary designers.

● EURientale – клавирен концерт на КОТАРО ФУКУМА с участието на вокален ансамбъл DAI
MONTI VERDI - Проект на Фондация „Пианисимо“. / EURientale: piano recital by KOTARO FUKUMA featuring vocal ensemble DAI MONTI VERDI - The project is a Pianissimo Foundation production.

● Aйкидо семинар и ембукай-Проектът се осъществява от Сдружение „Джикишинкай -
Джикишинкай Доджо Пловдив“. / Aikido Seminar and Embukai - The project is implemented by JIKISHINKAI – Jikishinkai Dojo Plovdiv Association.

● Sogetsu Ikebana Art - Айляшки град - Проектът се осъществява от „Миракал Уоркс“ ЕООД.
Sogetsu Ikebana Art - The project is implemented by MIRACLE WORKS LTD.

● Концерт „Японската песен среща българската песен“ - Проектът се осъществява от Нели
Дойчева Койчева. / Japanese Song meets Bulgarian Song - This is a project of Neli Doycheva Koycheva.

● Айкидо денс - Проектът се осъществява от Фондация „Вертикал“. / Aikido Dance - This is a project by the Vertical Foundation. - Unrealized project.

● Изложба „Кири-е и кимоно – традиции и съвремие“ - Проектът се осъществява от Асоциация „Кири-е Интернейшанъл България“. / Exhibition Kiri-e and Kimono – Traditions and Modernity - The project is a Kiri-e International – Bulgaria Association production. - Аssociated to Plovdiv 2019 programme.

● Икебана – вдъхновение за всеки- Проектът се осъществява от Сдружение „Сога“.
Ikebana – Inspiration for Everyone - The project is realized by the Soga Association. - Associated to Plovdiv 2019 programme.

Here you can find details for the open call by EU Japan Fest for supporting projects for the years 2021 and 2022 for which activities associated with the programme pf Plovdiv 2019 are eligible to apply. Please be aware of the several deadlines for applying in accordance with the planned implementation of the project and the funding required. This is the obligatory form for a supporting letter which should be signed by Plovdiv 2019 and attached to your application.
