Kapana drums #3 (21 September)

We will awaken the carnival spirit in the city with three interactive jam sessions at Nebet Tepe and Djumaya Park. All those willing to participate can actively partake in the creation of music. The musicians Viktor Veltchev and Alexander ‘Shamancheto’ Evtimov will take 30 percussion instruments on the stage and invite passers-by to find the rhythm of the music within oneself by playing together.

Drum Circle brings people together by creating spontaneous music at the moment. It is a celebration of life and the community, in which we share the pleasure of playing percussion instruments, of singing and dancing. The shared rhythms create a space of joy, self-expression and freedom. Everyone can participate regardless of their age and whether they have played before because everyone has (a sense of) rhythm! The facilitator takes care of the good mood during the musical journeys and helps to create an aesthetically pleasing experience.
