Positive (Exhibition, 19.09 – 19.10.2019)
Exhibition ‘Positive’ includes video and sound installations. The artistic components shape the audio-visual environment that incites visitors to use all the senses and give free rein to their imagination. The project stresses on echolocation as a means of orientation. Its nature is exploratory; its focus, social.
The main participants in the project are the people with impaired sight, but it is aimed at the whole society and is suitable for all audiences.

19.09 / 6.30 pm – Exhibition Opening with a presentation by Diana Boneva at the Adventurers Centre at the Mladezhki Hill. Opening Hours: 12pm – 7pm. The exhibition presents video and sound installations.
25.09 / 3.30pm – 6.30pm – A presentation of a sound installation takes place at the Plovdiv-based National Centre for Rehabilitation of Blind People at 24 Landos Str.
26.09 – There is a visit of visually impaired people at the Adventurers Centre.
15.10 / 11am – 8.30pm – an Open House Day at the Adventurers Centre and at the Plovdiv-based National Centre for Rehabilitation of Blind People.
15.10 / 6pm – 7pm – Presentation of the newly created sound environment is on 15 October, 6pm – 7pm at the Trakart Research Centre at 25 Knyaz Alexander I Battenberg Str.

Diana Boneva received her B.A. in Ceramics from The National Academy of Arts in Sofia, Bulgaria. After her first solo exhibition she entirely changed her artistic tools and started working mainly in the sphere of video art, photography, installation and performance art.
Her works often concern social themes. Her artistic projects deal with different connections and interrelations on both individual and social levels. She participates in festivals and group exhibitions in her native country and on the international stage, some of witch: Videoholica, Varna; Sofia Underground; Sofia Contemporary; Water tower art fest; Young Vagrants Festival, Ghent, Belgium; PERFO! и Perfo9, Finland. In 2012 Diana Boneva participated in I Biennial of Contemporary Art, Casablanca, Morocco.
The project is a production of the Naturalisticho Association.
