Forum ‘E.T.A. Hoffmann in Bulgaria’ (23–25 October)

Е. Т. А. Hoffmann-Gesellschaft е. V. is a well respected German society that brings together scholars and cultural workers from universities and cultural and educational institutions around the world. To mark the bicentenary of E.T.A. Hoffmann’s death in 2022 the Society has planned a series of initiatives with the support of German and foreign institutions.

The first of them is the conference E.T.A. HOFFMANN IN BULGARIA. In 2019 we celebrate two hundred years of one of the most popular novellas Hoffmann wrote, “Little Zaches Called Cinnabar” (1819), whose most intensive European reception takes place in Bulgaria.

Organising the international interdisciplinary academic forum E.T.A.
