‘The Brothers Karamazov’ is a novel, which at a fundamental level is a spiritual drama asking important moral questions of modern man, about faith, doubt, guilt and free will. The subject of man and of God, of faith and of unbelief is common to Dostoevsky. He is thirsty to find the final truths, the absolute principles of the spiritual and moral world inhabited by man. There are extremes here, contradictions coexist - and here the devil struggles with God, and the battlefield for this battle is the hearts of men’ (Deyan Proykovski).

The project is implemented by the Ivan Vazov National Theatre.
