Maina Town Weekend

The second edition of Maina Town Weekend continues Maina Town's story of local artists, writers, musicians, and entrepreneurs. These columns will thus become platforms for real encounters between guests and the public in the form of community events.

Maina Town Weekend is a stage for Plovdiv artists from the visual, literary, and musical arts, accompanied by creative workshops and educational activities about art, ecology, and entrepreneurship. The event is open to all ages, genders, races, and cultural backgrounds and will take place indoors and outdoors on the weekend.

The topics of the events will be:

Maina Art for exhibitions of comic artists, workshops and seminars on fine art, art installations, and outdoor cinema screenings;

Maina Vibes focuses on music events including concerts and DJ sets;

Green Maina is for meetings and workshops with organizations on ecology topics and health care + an exhibition of organic and eco-friendly products;

Maina Tech is on entrepreneurship and technology involving schools, universities, and companies, career opportunities, new trends, and expectations for the working environment;

Maina Sports is about fun competitions for the whole family.

Maina Town Weekend is a project by 5za4 and part of the Plovdiv - European Capital of Culture programme.
