A new deadline for our open call "Small Projects: Events and Community Participation"

Our open call "Small Projects: Events and Community Participation" has a new deadline. We are extending the period for accepting project proposals due to the upcoming holidays. You now have exactly 21 days left. We are expecting your project proposals until 10th of April, 5 PM sharp. Meanwhile, you can contact us at any time at smallprojects@plovdiv2019.eu

Open Call “Small Projects” is an invitation for those of you who want to be part of the Plovdiv – European Capital of Culture 2019’s programme and realize your ideas in the form of an event and a project. It continues until 6th of April and aims to fund organizations, cultural operators, independent artists, and curators.

The main focus will be the programme’s three flagship projects – the Cyrillic alphabet, as a unique Bulgarian contribution to the European culture; work with different communities in the neighborhoods – related to the cluster Mahala, and different acts and interventions situated around the Maritsa River and Adata island. Applicants can submit projects outside the scope of the three flagships but they must also meet the main goals, criteria, and priorities of our preliminary programme.
