Neighbourhood Stage

‘Neighbourhood Stage’ is a travelling festival of performative arts that offers Plovdivians a series of varied art events around the Bunardzhika Park. Visitors are invited not just as viewers but also as participants. In April 2019 (12 – 21) a mobile container-studio arrives at the park. Artists from across Bulgaria as well as various art studios - movement, musical, theatrical, literary, puppetry, and clown will present their contemporary art. Programme highlight is the Venelin Shurelov performance ‘ROTOR’.

The project is a production of Art Office Foundation, Association Informburo Foundation, and 7AKT Association in partnership with the Children’s Department of Ivan Vazov National Library Plovdiv.
