Vazduharia 2019, a Festival of Free Flying (6 – 8 September)

Vazduharia (which, in loose translation, means fooling around in the air) is a one-of-kind Balkan gliding festival that invites pilots of unpowered aircraft from around the world. Apart from providing air space, the festival offers a varied artistic programme, with workshops and shows of local, Bulgarian and international artists and musicians.

Vazduharia (6 – 8 September 2019)

The Vazduharia festival has been held since 2011, always during the first week of September, in Sopot. In 2019 the festival will be held from 6th to 8th of September. Admission is free and is open to all who want to discover the beauty of flying with a paraglider, hang glider, balloon or other aircraft, to enjoy aerial acrobatics and artistic programme, to take part in workshops for local crafts or to just have fun with friends in the outdoors.
