Plovdiv - European Capital of Culture 2019 advertised on buses in Rome

Buses in the Eternal city, Italy's capital Rome, are promoting Bulgaria's second biggest city Plovdiv and the fact it will be a European Capital of Culture in 2019.

The campaign started on May, 11th and will be advertising both European Capitals of Culture for 2019 - the Italian city Matera and the Bulgarian Plovdiv, in public transport. The campaign slogan combines both cities' slogans - #together for an #openfuture.

The initiative is carried out in partnership with the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Rome and is part of the foundation's marketing strategy to promote Plovdiv - European Capital of Culture 2019 internationally.
