Fairy-Tales Workshop - activities with children

The children's books author Diana Petrova organises a fairy-tales creative writing workshop for children from the Stolipinovo-based Nayden Gerov School. Jointly, they discuss inspiring themes - family, holidays, emigration, school - from the children's lives. Under Ms Petrova's guidance, the themes are then transformed into fairy-tales.

The children participate actively in the creative process by telling and writing about their most thrilling and entertaining experiences. Their stories become part of a book, ‘Tales from Izgrev,’ featuring fairy-tales and stories by Diana Petrova and based on the children's works during the workshop.

Аctivities with children 30 November 2018 - 28 February 2019

Eight workshops with the author Diana Petrova and students from 5 to 7 grade from Nayden Gerov School. The classes include interactive games to bring together groups of students, pass through individual leisure stories, interests, memories of the participants and end with a brief general story that the group assembles together. The drawings of the students are illustrations of the fairy tales accompanying the process.\
