Exhibition Plovdiv Fantasy Guide - Opening 3 May 2019
‘Plovdiv Fantasy Guide’ is a nontraditional tourist guide fashioned as a comic strip. In a funny and attractive manner, it presents opportunities for recreation and cultural tourism in Plovdiv, as well as the way in which we can fully feel and immerse ourselves into what we call the Plovdiv Way of Life.
The project is accompanied by a print publication in Bulgarian and English, a digital edition, an electronic game (Tegelling in Maina Town), and a cartoon competition (15 May to 1 June 2019), which focuses on Plovdiv.
Along with the tourist guide, the edition includes short graphic novels (comics) about real objects from the town. In the stories emblematic monuments are awaken for a new life and are presented in a new, updated meaning and purpose.

The exhibition presents graphic novels, included in the Plovdiv Fantasy Guide – a nontraditional tourist guide in both Bulgarian and English fashioned as a comic strip. The artists are Dimitar Petrov, Yardan Terziyski, Koycho Kasabov, Todor Karagyaurov, Mitch Brezounek, Viktor Muhtarov, Ani Yordanova, Teodora Doncheva – Tech, Todor Popov, Ivo Palchev, Mihail Rek.
The hardcopy of PLOVDIV FANTASY GUIDE can be purchased at a price of 28 lv. in bookstores "Hermes" in Plovdiv, as well as in shops and restaurants in Kapana District.
