BACKGROUND: Young Artists from Plovdiv (Group Exhibition from 5 July till 30 August 2019)

In 2019, SARIEV Contemporary’s long-lasting platform BACKGROUND: Young Artists, will have special edition – BACKGROUND: Young Artists from Plovdiv, which will present curated exhibition with works by the youngest generation of Plovdiv artists. The exhibition will take place from 5 July till 30 August 2019 and will have accompanying programme.

5 July – exhibition opening:
6 pm – opening at Sariev Contemporary
7 pm – opening at Danchova house, Old Town Plovdiv
8 pm – opening at Coffee&Gallery Cu29
9 pm – party for the exhibition opening, FLUCA – Austrian cultural pavilion

6 July:
Portfolio day at FLUCA – Austrian cultural pavilion
7 pm – screening of Dimitar Shopov’s film '3d DOGS' at Lucky cinema followed by talk

The project is implemented by ‘SARIEV Contemporary’. Co-organizer of the exhibition ‘BACKGROUND: Young Artists from Plovdiv’ is Municipal Institute ‘Ancient Plovdiv’.
