A Pictured Story (Art Workshops)

This project consists of a string of art studios and seeks to involve in group work children in the lower grades from the St Konstantin Cyril the Philosopher School in Plovdiv, as well as parents and teachers. They all take part in the putting together of a scrapbook and engage also in lessons in urban gardening and work in art studio. The latter will be used for the creation of an outdoor installation, the organisation of an exhibition-bazaar, presentations of scaled-down models and coloured solutions in a school environment.

The sessions on 14th and 15th February follow the title "Self-Portrait - Working on Scrapbook" and "Art Studio for Crafting Clay Tablets and Figurines".

In March children work on their own scrapbook -- "My Family on the Way" - and take part in "A Box for Memories", an art studio.

In April the scrapbook project follows the motto "My Home - a Place for Everything and Everyone I Love". The art studio focuses on decorating flowerpots.

On 12th, 18th, 19th and 21st of May children and parents work on traps for dreams and on a scrapbook named "If I Were a Magician..."
