Staro Zhelezare Street Art Village Festival 2019 (5.07 – 31.08.2019 г.)
Since 2015, art has come to the people. Every summer, the initiators of the project - artists Katarzina and Ventsislav Piryankovi - with their students from the Polish city of Poznań organize the festival of avant-garde art "Staro Zhelezare Street Art Village Festival". They transform Staro Zhelezare, drawing outdoors, on the walls of houses and fences in the village. The theme of the 2018 festival "The Museum of Modern Art MoMA in New York comes to Staro Zhelezare” has caused a wide response not only in Bulgaria but also around the world - portraits of local people are being discussed alongside the works of world-famous artists.
Leading in 2019 (5.07 – 31.08.2019 г.) is the idea of futuristic utopia. The edition includes artistic performances and theater performance on 27 July 2019 at 6pm.
