Europe Day: Festival of Lights / #StayECOzyCinhome
#StayECOzyCinhome 🏠 with #ECoC
Seventy years ago, on 9 May 1950, the French politician Robert Schuman issued the declaration that started Europe on the path to today’s #EuropeanUnion. Today, we remember the founding values of our Union: peace and solidarity in Europe. In the fight against Covid-19, the European Union shows that strength lies in solidarity, as this is a crisis that we can only overcome #together.
Throughout the so special for us 2019 we celebrated Europe Day, May 9, with the prominent #FestivalofLights, coming to Bulgaria for the first time in its history and were able to see how some of the most beautiful facades in the city center "come alive" with the colours and sounds of the captivating 3D mapping show and the light installations.
Emblematic interviews and reportages of Plovdiv National TV, virtual tours of the local museums and galleries, and recordings of shows, provided for free from the Plovdiv cultural institutes, are only a small part of the options that enrich the #StayECOzyCinhome 🏠 with #ECoC initiative. Thus we will be able empower again the emotional links which would allow us from home to be connected with the whole world and share together this huge archive of interesting publications.
