Travelling Green Tale
Focusing on Plovdiv's parks, hills, Maritza River and urban spaces, the project aims to spark a sense of protection and appreciation for nature in adolescent minds, while reminding the parents of their role in protecting the environment.
The children will be participants in the experience, actively involved in the events themselves, playing games which introduce them to recycling concepts and learning about local flora and fauna. There will also be workshops where to learn about the environment and the earth's resources. The event will be open and can change according to the audience.
The events will take place at Mladejki Hill, Bunardzhika, Maritza River and Lauta Park, with a focus on planting young trees typical of Plovdiv and the region
5th of October on the meadow of Youth Hill at 11:00 a.m.
6th of October in Bunardzik park near by Levski monument at 11:00 a.m.
12th of October in park "Lauta" (eastern park near by the barbeques) at 11:00 a.m.
13th of on the stationary stage on the south side of the Maritsa river, near the Water Palace from 11:00 a.m.

Perfect for families with young children, this free event invites kids on a fun-filled journey while learning how to protect and care for our planet.
At four different locations around Plovdiv, children will have the opportunity to.
- learn about the parks, hills and river of our beautiful city;
- participate in fun, interactive games which introduce them to the concepts of recycling and environmental protection;
- engage in practical workshops about local plants, animals and the Earth's natural resources;
- experience the joy of planting tipical local trees, building a personal connection to nature and a sense of responsibility towards it.
