Two of the top current names on the European dance scene are closing ONE DANCE WEEK 2021

An unforgettable dance weekend awaits us in Plovdiv - between October 22 and 24 we watch the performances LARSEN C by Christos Papadopoulos and GRACES by Sylvia Gribaudi.

With full halls, applauses and a lot of emotions, the twice-postponed thirteenth edition of the international festival for contemporary dance ONE DANCE WEEK started. After the furor by the presentation of Dimitris Papayoanu's new show, this weekend in Plovdiv will be the second big highlight of this year's FOCUS GREECE - the presentation of LARSEN C, the new production of one of Papayoanu's students - Christos Papadopoulos. The play will be presented on October 22, after its French premieres in Paris, Bordeaux and Strasbourg, and after Plovdiv it will travel to the prestigious stages of RomaEuropa in Rome, Reggio Emilia, Teatro de la Ville in Paris and Festival de Otono in Madrid. LARSEN C by Christos Papadopoulos is without a doubt another event in the ONE DANCE WEEK programme, which puts Bulgaria on the contemporary European cultural map. The day after, on October 23, is the presentation of THE DISAPPEARANCE POINT of the young Greek choreographers Dafin Antoniadou and Alexandros Vardaksoglu, again part of the thematic FOCUS GREECE. On Sunday, October 24, the festival programme will close with the award-winning performance GRACES of the star of the Italian dance scene Sylvia Gribaudi, in which she boldly ridicules the centuries-old stereotypes about beauty. Gribaudi is also one of four artists to be co-produced by the European network Big Pulse, co-founded by ONE DANCE WEEK.

From today till October 22, one of our Instagram followers has a chance to win a double ticket for the closing weekend. For details: instagram.com/Plovdiv2019
